	Free time In the summer our mountains offer many possibilities for amusement, evocative places where you can spend a quiet moment and places equipped for the classic summer sporting disciplines. Near the pass, where you can find the nursery slopes in winter, there are tennis courts and five a side football pitches in summer with lighting at night. The steeper part of the field is equipped with a slide for downhill tubing reached by a convenient carpet lift. Immersed in the beech forest there is the “Vita” (Life) path, with plenty of rest stops where you can find wooden equipment for physical exercise.
	Horse riding Near the Abetone pass there is a horse riding school which has beautiful horses. The trained staff hold horse riding courses and accompany the tourists on picturesque trips through our woods and pastures.
	Paragliding In the Pistoia mountains you can practise paragliding. You can get to the flying areas by off road vehicle, and there is a flying school present in the area which can provide you with all the necessary logistic support. For further information

	Downhill - Freeride - Cross Country These are the disciplines connected to this new way of interpreting the mountain bike. The cable car of Ovovia is opened at the end of Spring and is available for all those who wish to put themselves to the test in the adrenalin fuelled descents using the famous winter pistes.
