Abetone
Abetone (1388 m above sea level) derives its name from an enormous fir tree (abete) so big that it couldn‘t even be circled by six people with their arms outstretched, which was cut down to make way for an 18th century Modenese road.

Fiumalbo
Fiumalbo is the perfect example of a medieval village, elected “CITY OF ART” because of its artistic and architectural charm. Worth a visit because of its proximity ( reachable in approx. 20 minutes).

Cutigliano
On a spur, close to Monte Cuccola, surrounded by thick forest, appears Cutigliano, originally a medieval village, a place which still preserves almost intact the evidence of its past (reachable in 15 minutes).

Firenze
Cradle of Italian Art of the Renaissance, visit the Uffizi galleries, Pitti Palace, The Duomo or the church of Santa Maria Novella. Piazzale Michelangelo and the promenade along the Arno are must see destinations.

A city with a famous stone wall intact for 1000 years, Lucca is distinguished by the beauty of its town, with its piazzas, streets and churches, which are veritable jewels inside the walls (reachable in about an hour).
